2003 National Finals - Dundee

Dundee might be famous for its cakes but Manx Concert Brass are working very hard to make it
the site of a famous brass band victory.
The band will set off on Friday 19th September to make the long boat and coach journey to the Scottish city to
compete in the 2nd Section Final of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain. The band has already
begun to rehearse for the contest which it is hoped will be the next step up the ladder - a place in the 1st
Section could be the prize.
Success in the area and national finals has seen the band rise from the 4th to 2nd section and the Dundee finals
will be the fourth that it has contested at National Finals level.
Many thanks to Absolute Contractors who have kindly provided the band
with new jumpers for the contest.
